Clippy never had a voice and tbh the one that comes to mind for him is not very easy on the ears. Like downpitched spongebob.

Yet language and abstraction are the core of intelligence. You cannot have intelligence without 2 way communication, and if anything, your brain contains exactly that dictionary you describe. Ask any verbal autistic person, and 90% of their conversations are scripted to a fault. However, there’s another component to intelligence that the Turing Test just scrapes against. I’m not philosophical enough to identify it, but it seems like the turing test is looking for lightning by listening for rumbling that might mean thunder.
Looks like the arduboy’s display. Might look for some C++ arduino libraries. Additionally, it never hurts to have gimp/PS skills for stuff like this, and there are likely plugins for both.
I see a future where China out and out steals the unity backend to publish the CCP spyware flavor of unity.
That’s an old white-hat trick. If the tables drop, the wrap helps them bounce.
Ublock doesn’t freeze my YT videos when it rolls over a midroll ad. I’ll never use anything else (maybe a Pi-Hole)
By the by, everything that the rich do in that book is what the workers have the power to do today. Corps are too big to stop. They don’t just “retreat” from society. Eventually, everyone will quit them, not the other way around. One does not reap the benefits of a society they do not partake in. Otherwise, I liked the drama, and the characters are well-written imho.
The audiobook isn’t so bad. It’s certainly 64hrs of audio… And took me 3 months.
It’s very sad. I’m fortunate that it was the opposite for me. Born into a hyper-conservative Catholic family, then when 3 out of 4 of their children wound up LGBTQ, they realized that God might have been telling them something. They’re extremely and refreshingly Christ-like, and total allies. They treat my same-sex fiancé as their full-blown in-law.
Im sure it couldn’t be difficult to do a rolling purge to keep the file at a fixed size?
Russia is still feeling the effects of the cold war brain drain that hasn’t helped by their less than inviting prospects for the return of expensive, specialized talent. They will just wind up BEING chinese products, carefully and cleverly rebranded and channeled through government-approved “assembled in motherland” companies in Russia that chinese firms will only happen to have a majority stake in.
