Question: if a Linux distro already installs grub, why would I want something like this?
Grub is a bootloader, not the firmware/BIOS which is used to initialize the hardware
If I‘m not totally mistaken, libreboot is about you getting more control over your machine, ie disabling intel management engine.
Leave it to reality to squash my hopes.
I have an ancient laptop in storage, and I wonder if it’s one of those.
Still just old stuff…
I have one of that era! Which is cool!
But my Novacustom 11th Gen Intel Laptop just works for modern stuff.
