Just wanted to compile a little list of somewhat uncommon brands and boards (at least to me) I found on aliexpress that may not much attention. Are they good? i have no idea as I don’t own any, and these aren’t affiliate links, just random boards I have found while browsing AX.
I’ve left out the more well known boards (banana, orange, sipeed, etc) and tried to focus on the more obscure. Feel free to add your suggestions. I may make a wiki page soon.

My shortcut for “do I want to buy this SBC?” is to check the Armbian supported models list. If it supports Armbian and everything actually works then the board is viable. Cheap SBC vendor images are almost always terrible in some way, it’s Armbian or bust for me.
I think that the VisionFive 2 is close (found a thread on them using mainline kernel w/ Alpine from a month ago).
FriendlyARM makes some nice kit.
