Vlogbrothers has been a favourite for many years. They do so much good! And do lots of silly stuff too, like making a series of videos with titles taken from smash mouth’s rockstar 😀
My Brother HL 230 laser printer is so reliable. Had it for years and it never failed me.
That’s great, thank you. I always just put on Lofi girl on YouTube or, if I want to work not connected to the internet, I put on a playlist for some of the albums I downloaded on my iPod nano.
My husband and I use a spreadsheet. It has a picture of the plant, information on care I pull from the web (so many great plant care sites around!) and a bit of info on when it was watered last and when last fertilised etc.
We have a large collection but the spreadsheet is still easily manageable.
What a great story, and such a cheap fix too.
The best repair story I have is replacing my top case and battery for my MacBook. I had to replace the top case (As my keyboard was broken) and figured out a new battery would be good too, given that I had to remove it anyway to install the top case. It took me a couple hours (so many screws!) but I did it, and now my 9 year old MacBook is still running rather smoothly.
Xfce is just amazing. I’ve used it for many years, starting with Xubuntu I think and it’s my go to Linux version. So minimal and functional.
