    It was long ago enough to forget what the hell I was talking about but I think you are correct if he can’t, he can’t and I said can, I think it was a typo.

    Not gonna change it just in case I was more profound than I realized, either way it is literally written in code so technically correct.

    It’s a paradox If he can come in he can come in if he can’t come in he can, But he can’t come in unless she says he can come in and she said he can come in conditionally if he in fact can come in.

    To put it another way:

    Condition 1: Entry is permitted on the grounds that Entry is permitted.

    Condition 2: Entry is permitted on the ground Entry is permitted.

    In Python:

    define Entry(permission):
       if Entry(permission) == True:
          permission = True
       else:
          permission = False
    Entry(False)

  • It might just be the cynic in me but let’s be honest my cynical side is right %99.999… of the time and the rest of me is a vestigial organ held on by foolish optimism buuuuut I feel it’s to get all the benefits without giving back, the vast majority of all traction on a post is in the first few minutes and you cant comment on a post in real time unless you join their proprietary walled garden, it’s like free advertising, see a post you like in the fediverse? Oh no it’s already old and people have already made the top comments I guess I have to go to their app.

  • It very much depends on how close to hardware they are.

    If someone is working with C# or JavaScript, they are about as knowledgeable with hardware as someone working in Excel(I know this statement is tantamount to treason but as far as hardware is concerned it’s true

    But if you are working with C or rust or god forbid drivers. You probably know more than the average IT professional you might even have helped correct hardware issues.

    Long story short it depends.

    Fun fact, caffeine has a half life of 3-7 hrs, after that the positive effects fade and you are left with all the negative(jitters, dehydration, fatigue, depression…) but it will be an average of 5 hrs. so to alleviate this you should only drink half the caffeine you would normally consume in the morning and half about 3-5 hours into your shift, or Probably far less than that given how much caffeine people drink to avoid the above mentioned symptoms, also drinking plenty of water and try magnesium and exercise too ensure the caffeine moves out of your body before the symptoms kick in, or consider switching to a natural alternative like cocaine(That last bit was a joke don’t sue me)
