AI generated images didnt exist back then, Im not sure how it couldnt be real.
Here’s a related, interesting example for BlueSky, on generating disguised links and preview cards (with content the url doesn’t actually contain) for anyone curious: https://github.com/qwell/bsky-exploits
The article mentions there are aleady a few issues, some quite old. The article is useful for raising awareness and hopefully getting the fix prioratized higher.
If posts were signed, it wont matter what instance youre posting from since your identity would be tied to your public key and not the account on a Mastodon/lemmy/etc server.
Thats more decentralized. It helps when you get banned, a server shuts down etc.
Whatsapp is E2E encrypted isn’t it.
Why would instances want to train an LLM on text users post? What does it mean for an LLM to be distributed?
That icon goes way too hard for an uptime tracker.
Yes, the software it uses is mentioned in the post.
Thanks for the detailed reply :)
Im new, what do you mean by message being on another server? Do you mean a post?
I’m surprised you see it as prudish not wanting your SO lusting for and jerking off to other women having sex. Why not attend strip clubs too. Watching some women dance is tamer than watching them have sex.
I’m not sure how much more nuance there can be than ‘most people arent ok with it, but I get it if you and your wife are’
It’s wrong because most of the time that isn’t something your SO will be ok with. If your wife is ok with it, thats that.
I was just surprised because jerking off to other women having sex while committed to one seems wrong. I didnt consider you two might have agreed on it. But I don’t agree its either porn or not having sex if your partner isnt around. You can just jerk off without.
Married people watch porn?
No, nsfw content is allowed on lemmy.blahaj.zone and Ive even stumbled on furry porn on a meme community (/c/196) so its not that.
If we are against lolicon for depicting children in such ways then its perfectly consistent being against stuff that use people (even if theyre adults) to do the same.
Its just IRL lolicon, Im with the admins of blahaj.zone in being against that.
IMO if technical difficulty is the filter, it would actually only select for people good at computers. There are otherwise dumb, shallow people who are good at tech.
(I’m not saying its difficult using lemmy, just replying to the idea in general)
I’m curious what you work as? Sysadmin?
