I would 100% take him and keep the name but I see he is too far away. :(
I’m on Linux Mint right now and when I go my library and toggle the “Show only games that run on Linux” button, nothing happens. I don’t think Valve cares about the distinction, so long as it runs.

They should be considered ads at this point.
This seems like a good place to ask.
Good replacements for google photos?
Last thing tying me to them besides email.
They had it so right with GPM. I wish they had gave more shits about it. I even paid for that shit because it was good enough to remind me of the old days of using foobar to listen to music.
I tried to set this up on Mint and was getting pinged for my keyring password every time I logged in. Got really annoying very fast because I do not have the require password setting on. So it was making me type my password either way.
Ubuntu derivative
Is one reason.
DE nobody else seems to be using
Cinnamon is easy to use though. Seamless transition from windows to linux for people who don’t know what they are really doing. When they get the hang of it, you can do some neat stuff with it.
Cinnamon is also an in house thing from the Linux Mint developers which is why it’s most common there. There’s a few other distros that have spins on it. Namely Ubuntu, Manjaro, Arch, Fedora, etc.
and I don’t know how to separate from that.
Take screenshots, load them all into a folder and use some kind of gallery widget or app to show you one daily.
I think I’ve seen calendars that will show you an image a day but I don’t know how well you can set images to certain days, etc.
I personally don’t remember it being that way but it’s been a long time since I’ve used KDE. Like, Mandrake was still a thing when I last used it.
Who the hell advertises their MacOS software in the console of linux of any type?
This runs arch btw
Yeah, Playback > Renderer. Change it to the chromecast.
I haven’t purchased any hardware at all yet. Live 3.4 miles from a microcenter though so it’ll be easy to go buy too many things.
I run a mix of Windows and Linux on the network, but the Windows machines it’s less important that it has access. Probably just do a samba share at first so I can just mount the NAS to a folder on my main pc so I can use VLC to cast to my chromecast.
That’s the way AT&T used to be with their minutes. They called it rollover. Now they basically do everything but tell you to fuck off.
“Included”.
Imagine getting a steam deck and you’re out and about and you use your hotspot so you can play a game. Your game needs to be updated. Now imagine you have the $35 plan. You won’t even make it to playing your game before you get throttled to 128KB/s.
Hotspots are the new thing they’ve modeled the plans around. First it was minutes, then it was texting, then it was data, now it’s hotspots.
edit: I’ve been arguing about this with them for ages because we WERE on a grandfathered plan from when they bought out cingular. They got rid of our plan (Kicked us off said plan.) and these are the only 3 options they have left.
edit2: Forgot to mention. The rationale they give for this is that they “don’t want people using their cellular data to replace their home internet”.
They refused to provide anyone a work phone.
EDIT: To clarify. I was not the only one unhappy about all this. There was a group of the groundskeepers from other properties that were putting up a fight as well because none of their work required work orders, but were still required to install the software.
Which is the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. They refused. Threatened me with discipline. I was already being paid shit for the work I was doing and was expected to do more. They even threatened my boss because I refused to install any apps. They were out to make an example of me because my position was a hold out from the “old ways”.
They were doing something with glassdoor as well because I attempted to report how much I made on there and I’m guessing they didn’t like the way it made them look so they had my review taken down. “Spam post as salary is not within market range for position.” I was 100% honest in the pay I posted. (Plot twist: It was well below market range. Surprising, I know.)
