Signal maybe not
Someone
Signal maybe not
Hope to see it growing the best way
Use SimpleX
Ohh great project
I don’t see any main website being broken due to firefox
But it would a cleanest of running at only one place and fetch the infos after
Yeah maybe a plan of 1 dollar for any channel
Shit, this thing look insane, gonna check it asap
I’ve seen a lot of people using Vivaldi as “private” browser. What is the point here?
I don’t like using “encrypted” email because in fact email is really not a secure protocol by default, you can send secure email to each other but if you’re communicating to gmail, yahoo, outlook… You will lost all your privacy. Hosting an email service is good but do not use encryption when talking randomly to gmail accounts.
Peertube is actually a really good alternative to YouTube and it means the return of the decentralized web! (Odysee is a good alternative too, but I don’t know if their maintainers are okay) But the problem is that the creators would lost money if they do this for free, and people wouldn’t want to pay if they can have data mining videos for “free”
The best thing is to self host it, to have better uptimes and custom default settings
Basically YouTube is the only that you can’t “degoogled” you will not find any alternative to watch videos of a lot of creators or search tutorial, explanations in it. Sadly…
1 - Maybe try to use https://duck.ai it’s open source model hosted by duckduckgo
2 - Element is not the way to go for sensitive infos, it’s like a discord replacement in the way of joining public groups, not really a good messenger for really secure and bulletproof 1:1, recommanding Signal or even better SimpleX
4 - Use Mullvad.
To combat censorship, first go out a anti-censorship platform and then try to solve the problem
Telegram is not a social for counter the censorship and be private, it’s not good at all to use Telegram for this kind of messaging + with the arrest of Durov, it will even more difficult to counter govs when using Telegram
The solution is to not use Telegram, and fuck the govs
Right
It’s really an absolute no. But it requires your phone and is centralized, basically that’s the two mains concerns that I have.
