I was in the chicken run looking out 😅 The chickens and I were behind the cage 🙃
I grew the plant to give me fruit and to provide some shade for my chickens.
Thank you! Yeah, I know it as maracuyá also. It’s my first time growing it so I appreciate the info about harvesting. I’m a little surprised that I should wait so long though 😅 I guess I hadn’t researched the harvesting portion yet.
I’ve only had it as an agua fresca drink, so I’m really looking forward to tasting just the fruit.
Poor little plant, so much energy used 😅
I have the worst luck growing plants from seed. Yours look healthy. Hopefully the chipmunk doesn’t come back for more 😅
Wow! That’s so awesome, I had never heard of these. How long is it before they go back to normal after being touched?
They have a nice CLI which has been really awesome to pair with my dotfiles manager. Definitely one of my favorite and most useful used-daily software.
This looks pretty awesome. Hopefully it matures into a useful multi client of sorts.
I feel like I’m missing something here. I’ve never needed to worry about docker container IPs.
I wonder why you want them to have fixed IPs. I guess I want to understand the problem it would solve.
If all you want to do is have the other containers use the pihole as DNS… they’d already be doing so if the server is using it as the DNS server.
At worst you’d need to provide
dns:
- <server IP where pihole is>
property to the services.
I’m not sure, we weren’t in a hurry to have it fruit so I didn’t look into it. The plant’s main function is to provide shade to a chicken coop. It is self pollinating so I’m happy with that.
I’m not exactly sure. It closed up already. So at least a day. Not sure how long it had been open. I doubt it was very long unfortunately.
I’m not sure what’s typical, it’s the first time I’ve had these. We’ve had the plant for about a year now but we didn’t grow it from seed, purchased it at the local home improvement store.
Wow! What a dramatic difference. We have like five tomatoes plants and all are producing fruit but they’re ripening slowly, imo. (I’m also in socal). Hot weather is coming this week though so hopefully we both have better luck 🤞
Around here they sell the drink with seeds and all. It’s very delicious.
The scones idea is super interesting 🤔
