The community is great, absolutely no shade intended, I just thought lemmy could be a chance to rebrand. Also the TM2 is a beast of a portable, I need one in my life too.
Edit: Thanks for the sub!
Ok, after spending a good few minutes selecting and saving every language on the list (there was some odd behaviour with only the visible languages staying selected after you tick them, so if you scrolled the selected languages off the screen without saving settings, they would get deselected), I go back after checking and see every language has been deselected again other than English and Undetermined, and I can still see all the posts and comments. I guess it was only momentary?
That was it! I guess whatever language you have selected when you make your post is the one you need to have selected when you want to see your post or comment again. A bit odd. I, maybe stupidly, just went and selected every single language. I wonder if after I make this comment with every language selected, if I deselect one, will I still be able to see this post?
It’s very strange. I saw the other user’s comment (thanks by the way! though I can’t respond to you anymore), and changed my language to English and Undetermined, and my interface language to English, and I can see all my own posts and previous posts, but for some reason the comments in your posts are completely empty now:
Now another odd thing is happening. I added some languages and I can see my posts, but now the comments on this post have now disappeared for me.
I came here to ask the same thing. I made a community, made a few starter posts and also a lemmy support post, I can see all my comments and can see on my profile that I have made 9 posts all in all, but can’t see any of them (it’s the same on Connect, Jerboa and browser). I can still access posts I have made comments on through the comments on my profile, but they don’t show up either on my profile or on the community I created.
Edit: I also just made a new test post on my own community and that also doesn’t show up anywhere (though it added the post to the total number of posts I made on my profile).
I just realised that maybe the lack of cat content is what I’m missing from Lemmy. I need to catify my feed.
Such a cutie too, by the way. Our first cat was a tabby, I love them dearly.
