I blame social media and algorithms. My teen son for the longest time was leaning further and further right due to the content he was getting served on YouTube. He was making disparaging comments about women and how stupid they are. My wife and I who lean left had to sit down and have a talk with him about what he was saying and videos that he was getting served by YouTube (that popular red pill girl, I can’t remember her name and andrew tate among other red pill stuff). He’s a pretty smart kid, once we showed him data and articles that directly proved all the things he was watching wrong, he started to come around. He’s been careful to believe things that he sees or hears on the internet more now. Occasionally, he’ll bring things to us that we have to double take and fact check to see if it’s wrong.
Which service are you using for this?
Which is why I’m now questioning why I even bought them to begin with. Any time a security flaw is found I need to spend another $50-60. Seem crazy and wasteful.

What a giant fucking piece of e-waste. Disposable vapes are stupid and harmful to the environment. Buy a vape that has replaceable cartridges/pods.
I really need to do a test restore. I’ve been backing my NAS up to B2 for about a year now and haven’t done one yet.
You can turn off all of those emails. At least I can, but I pay for it. There’s like 3-5 toggles in settings to select what communications I would like to receive from Proton.
You’re welcome. And if you’re not aware, you should look up stremio and real debrid. As well as smartube next for ad free YouTube.
That’s probably what it is then. I haven’t really kept track. I run FLauncher so I don’t have to look at the awful home screen that they ruined.
Gee willikers
Pretty sure my 2017 shield still runs 7 or 9 I can’t remember.
Nope they make a bit more.

1 million years dungeon!
And this is why I fight moving to the cloud constantly. They keep jacking prices too, so it is no longer cheaper to move infrastructure to the cloud except in certain scenarios.

Yup, they don’t mark up prices, they allow you to proxy traffic though them, and they have a WAF that you can set up 5 (I think) firewall rules for your traffic for free.
