Personally I’ve never liked the idea of NSFL. It just doesn’t feel like it has the eighth connotation, it’s wording feels like it’s meant to be a joke when it’s content is rarely funny. I think just using “Gore” or “Death” would be absolutely better.

I get your point, but I think lemm.ee is still so much smaller than lemmy.world that it’s not much of a problem (at least not yet).

I just checked and it’s not happening on one of the other accounts I have signed in. It could be an issue with that one account or instance.

Something I just thought of while typing this is if it’s pulling the list of top posts in the last day and then hiding all the ones I’ve read before, then nothing will show up there until enough newer posts overtake the top ones I’ve already read. But to me it would make more sense to filter out the read posts before pulling the top posts, but that might be a Lemmy thing not a Memmy thing. But that would only be the case if Top whatever pulled a set number of top posts and didn’t pull all posts and sort them by top.

Some updates here. The Subscribed feed seems to work more consistently, but not always. I just opened up the app (which defaults to All) and it worked but then I refreshed the feed and it said No posts again.

I hold him down while I pee so that doesn’t happen anymore. It took one time when it went directly on my shorts for me to adjust my habits so it wouldn’t happen again.

I’m not sure yet where I stand on using AI to enhance images you made. I think if it’s for commercial purposes, it shouldn’t be ok since it would essentially be profiting off others work.

But in this case, my big issue is they did this without telling their team or bosses. This is essentially no different from hiring a third party to enhance your work so you don’t have to do as much and pocketing the difference. Sounds like they’re updating their guidelines though and I hope this person is fired or won’t be contracted again. They should probably switch the art to the earlier versions in D&D Beyond and future printings too. Which is another thing, the “enhanced” one doesn’t seem better enough to have warranted this type of risk. I’m not sure what that person was thinking.

She claims she offered to tell the people around her not to buy them but the airline refused. The airline says they had agreed to do that but she decided to buy them all anyway. So it wasn’t about giving up private medical information (which wouldn’t make much sense anyway since she announced it to the world through this article). There’s also the fact that you’re very rarely “forced” to fly anywhere, especially in Europe. I just checked Google Maps and a flight from London to Düsseldorf is a little over an hour. There are train options for about 5 and half hours. That’s obviously a pretty big difference, but definitely workable if the allergy is really that severe. There’s also the fact she could’ve called ahead of time and asked about options instead of trying to strongarm the flight attendants into doing what she wanted.

And yeah, it wouldn’t be that difficult to not sell peanuts but that’s not the only thing people are allergic too. Unless they were going to not sell any snacks and not allow any outside food, it’d be impossible to prevent all allergens. That’s one of those things that the only possible solution is the person with the disorder to do their best to mitigate exposure, which means making sacrifices like taken a few trains for 6 hours instead of a convenient flight. There’s lots of people that due to various restrictions can’t always take the most convenient option.
