Turns out land votes more than people around here, and being in Austin doesn’t help my vote to count for more. Still, I’m (mostly) around like-minded folks here but I plan on moving in the next few years.

I’ve lived and voted here all my life, and never once have I voted for a repuglicunt like Paxton or Abbott.

Well yeah, no shit. To be recycled, plastic has to basically be pristine, and the very nature of plastic packaging means it usually ends up covered in paint, adhesive, or food. Mostly all three. The first two aren’t impossible to get rid of, but the third is a bitch. Just sorting the clean vs contaminated plastic is tough, but then you also have to worry about the type of plastic. Most varieties are straight up impossible to recycle.

Newegg is inundated with 3rd party sellers so it’s basically a crapshoot as well.

I went from owning a ‘99 Ford Explorer (bought from mom when I was 16) to a 2002 Chevy Silverado (inherited) to a 2018 Ford Fiesta. I LOVE my tiny car and I would love a smaller one.

Personally, I’m just waiting on Deep Rock Galactic to get started. Rock and stone!
