The case may be closed but you could open it and disconnect the battery. That model is a pain to replace the battery but easy to open and disconnect. Not sure if this would cause any issues if plugged in or if the machine would boot.

Yeah the mini is a great phone just didn’t sell well. I thought maybe they would roll the X back out as a mini or a SE since it’s screen size was about halfway between the mini and regular 12&13. I never thought phones would just keep getting bigger. I remember switching from a HTC One to an LG G3 with its massive 5.5” screen and it was just perfect lol.
It’s not just android devices, Apple discontinued the mini (5.4”) after the 13 series and they are on 15 series now. If you want a small iPhone now you have to get the SE which is an 8 with a chip from the 13 inside. The standard size is now 6.1 on both platforms.
Same, we got several small batches of XPS13 over a period of several years and just about all had problems. We had issues with batteries, drivers, random hardware failures, or total failure. We switched ThinkPad X1 Yoga and Surface Laptops 13 and have far fewer issues now.
Have you tried a different usb port? Sometimes certain peripherals work better in USB 2 ports vs 3. Also sometimes you can go into bios and set certain ports to always on.
Not worth the hassle for the 5 mins a day I use it on my phone.
Because its still the best (or only) place to get specific news and updates immediately. I mainly follow various sports teams, athletes, and small sports media people. I tried the same on Mastadon but most people are not there. I have not posted anything in many years.
This biometric stuff is no good though and I will not be participating in that.
Yep wrong decade, I forgot about this show.
I live in a large city and as of last year I have two choices for high speed home internet. I was paying $70/month for 300/20 with cable, now I have fiber and pay $70/month for 300/300. At least the first year was cheaper as a new customer and the faster upload speed is helpful for work from home.
Thanks for the update and keep up the good work! It seems like reddit went down a few times a week regularly for years. I have to think that some state sponsored actors are responsible for some of this. I’m sure that some topics being discussed here are not in line with the values of many regimes.
Probably, but most people don’t use all of their phone storage since it’s so easy to offload photos and video to cloud backup.
