Man, I had recently spent a lot of time designing advertisement stuff around an established brand identity, that was pretty much going for a classy/luxury aesthetic. So I was basing all my designs around that identity. Made lots of variations, took many hours perfecting it.
Then was told they didn’t like it. They wanted something entirely different that “screamed” budget and flashy colors and shapes.
Got it just perfect on the second attempt after being briefed properly, but it did really hurt when my first attempt was shot down so easily.
Can’t imagine they would put a helldiver on there and then not feature them in an episode lol, would expect more than just a background cameo, since the game came out this year.
Sad to see stuff like the hive drill still being bugged. Been an issue in many of my games for a long time now. Often had to forfeit and fail operations because of this stupid bug, seemed like a 50/50 chance that it would be bugged.
Hoping that crashes are fixed. The notes always says “Various crash fixes”, but every update it seems to get worse and worse and crashes happen far more frequently than before. Sometimes just straight to desktop, sometimes it freezes in the post-game screen, sometimes it just randomly sends us back to the ship with no information whatsoever to what happened.
And let’s hope the patrols/spawns are finally fixed properly. Some missions wildly varied, despite being the same difficulty. And some missions were just permanently bugged, like the ones where you have to raise flags and they just spawn endlessly in such insane amounts, sometimes even right on top of the player, even though that was supposedly fixed.
It’s been difficult getting back into the game because of the ridiculous amount of recurring issues. They could buff the entire arsenal and nerf all the enemies, but it’s not gonna matter at all if crashes still happen, and spawns and drills are still bugged.
Edit: I played some last night, and spawns definitely still happen to pop up right under my feet, specifically during some objectives.
Also patrols seem to have been nerfed so hard that every match there’s absolutely nothing to shoot anymore at the end and at extraction. Weapons feel fun, but like I mentioned in other posts before, they gotta stop buffing weapons and nerfing enemies, they keep overdoing both, and it makes level 10 missions feel like a breeze while they should be challenging.
The only reason I died some of the matches was because of the dumbass laser drone burning my ass, it seems even more spastic and unpredictable than before too. And the laser damage seems so insanely inconsistent, sometimes I take little damage, sometimes I get set on fire, and sometimes it just instagibs me from full health with medium armor.
All that said, probably will wait until new content drop. I’ve been maxed out on samples and currencies and unlocked all the warbonds for a long time and there’s no reason to play other than leveling the character for practically no rewards.
Hope they don’t dumb it down like they did with high difficulty missions. They can tone down ragdolls a little specifically for bot missions so you don’t get stuck in a ragdoll loop, but it should remain a punishment for people just blindly running into shit all the time. The amount of impatient people I’ve seen dying to absolutely oblivious spatial awareness is fucking ridiculous, it’s still supposed to be a slightly tactical game.
So sadly it won’t become a player hub as a lot of people had hoped. Still an interesting fun feature it seems though.
Hopefully more content is coming soon, I’m already done with all the warbonds again and maxed out on samples for a while.
Illuminate can’t come soon enough to spice things up again. Had kinda hoped they would’ve teased something at last week’s PlayStation show.
I think this update was a thing in itself, because weapons kept getting nerfed and the game became not fun, and it cost them a big chunk of the playerbase.
That said, I know Illuminate is just around the corner. And some tought bot enemy types are in queue. And the hive lord is probably going to make an appearance at some point in time. But I wish the previous content wouldn’t get dumbed down to the point that the most difficult missions become too easy, taking away the challenge ruins the whole feeling of accomplishing something.
The weapons are more fun to use, but the game became too easy because of it.
It seems like they buffed the weapons and nerfed the enemies at the same. I think they should’ve only done one of two.
High level difficulty missions should remain very difficult and challenging, now they mostly feel like that used to be 3-4 levels lower with some exceptions.
They’ve been an absolute menace in most matches I encountered them, usually showing up at the worst possible time.
If it turns out to be an actual player hub area, it would be kinda odd if they decided to just remove the feature from the game once it’s established, just because players would fail to hold a certain area.
Wasn’t this a major order before that failed?
Feel like they should just add a hub to Super Earth, and then a mobile space station for each war front or something.

Did a level 10 operation on bugs yesterday and it was ridiculously easy compared to before. Bots were a bit more difficult, but we didn’t get anyone to join so with just 2 players it was impossible. Another level 10 bot mission later with 4 players was very easy.
I never felt like the difficulty tuning was the problem, it was the weak-ass weapons and constant weapon nerfs. But it seems like with the buffs they also nerfed spawns and now the weapons overpowers the difficulty again. They either need to buff weapons and keep the ridiculous spawn rates that should be overwhelming on level 10, or nerf the weapons again so it’s not that easy and requires more tactical gameplay.
There used to be a nice balance in difficulties, if it’s too difficult you could just down the level to something more chill. The top level ones are supposed to be a real challenge. Now they feel like what was previously a level 7, 8 or 9 level, depending on which enemies you get.
Curious to know why whoever is downvoting disagrees (you know, engage in the discussion instead of just disagreeing and all that). The game had difficulty options for a reason, difficult levels needed to be difficult. It’s all way too easy now, I had barely even done level 10 before this update, it feels like what level 7 or 8 used to be.
Someone elsewhere mentioned there aren’t enough spawns to complete the missions since the update.
New updates and bugs, freezes, crashes go hand in hand sadly.

The headline screams ragebait from someone who doesn’t even play the game.
I’ll give you the grenade pistol hasn’t left my side since I got it, just because it’s too good to close spawners.
But I had always been using the slugger as primary, it worked great on bots and bugs. Combined with the laser backpack against bugs I rarely ever needed something else except for heavies.
I found it to be quite easy to rack up enough credits to at least unlock one warbond. And a second didn’t took too long either.
Most stuff has been pretty underwhelming anyway, there are a few good items but most default weapons are a lot better than anything from warbonds.
So did the fire one, dropping the fire nerf just before the fire warbond.
And the other ones were barely even worth it. I don’t think there have been any weapons from any of the warbonds being better than the base game defaults.
I can usually laugh it off, especially accidentals. But apparently a bunch of other people couldn’t, only been kicked for it like once though.
Recently had a moment where me and a random dropped on a plateau at the same moment, I walked to the edge to fire into a huge horde of bugs at the bottom, and the other guy walked right next to me and missed a melee swing at me. Then I turned and melee’d him, but he was holding a grenade so it dropped and we both blew off the plateau.
Guy just went off on voice chat how he accidentally pressed the melee and that he missed anyway lmao. Like chill bro, I thought it was just some fucking around. He continued to make annoying sarcastic comments throughout the mission, and complain about everything I did. Glad he dropped quiet when he realised how hard I had been carrying the entire team when he saw the score screen.
