Me, a long time KeyPass enjoyer:
“Y’know people keep talking about BitWarden, maybe it’s more accessible and I should give it a tr…(sees this) PFFFFFTTTT! DODGED THAT BULLET.”
I love Roller Coaster Tycoon. It’s absolutely crazy how he managed to write a game in a way many wouldn’t even attempt even in those days, but it’s not just a technical feat, it’s a creative masterpiece that’s still an absolute blast to play.
It still blows my mind how smoothly it gives the illusion of 3D and physics, yet it can run on almost anything.
OpenRCT brings a lot of quality of life and is often the recommended way to play today, but the original RCT will always deserve a spot on any “Best Games of All Time” list.
A little LESS chaotically, you can use emojis to name objects in Blender now… Which, I dunno, could be kinda fun in the right doses.
This picture had me progressively laughing harder as it progressed though LOL.
Woo! ALWAYS a good day to see InkScape getting some updates! I suck at it but I sure do appreciate it. :D
I hear it’s prone to Rust.
You can just hear it as kitty wedges into that pipe.
(PHOOMPF) … “MEooow?” :|
Seriously, Ubisoft.
ONE MORE ALARM AND LAMBERT’S PULLING THE PLUG ON THIS MISSION!!
Wow those waves are GORGEOUS for N64 graphics. Dang! I remember I loved Blue Storm on the GameCube. I spent a while just moving that little bubble around the main menu hahaha. It’s still gorgeous!
Is it possible the display controller was broken? N64 joysticks weren’t the most resilient and hoo boy did kids abuse those demo setups 😂
That’s actually a really cool thing we won’t see anymore: I remember those demo stands everywhere. Target, Best Buy, Toys R Us, whatever.
It was kinda cool walking up and just trying something… in my experience for like, 30 seconds before Mom was like “C’mon we have to go.” and I’d be hoping we passed by it again before trudging down the paper towel aisle or something… 😂
I’m still mad that Microsoft is deciding to just brick WMR devices. It’s such a scum move. They should require unlocking and open-sourcing the firmware at that point.
“But muh companee seecrets :(” Clearly you’re done with them, M$ / HP / Samsung / Asus and friends!
I’m happy Monado is a thing but right now it just feels like a very big “if” for these devices, and I refuse to give facebook any money for any reason.
At least there’s hope with possibly lightly used Vive kits or something? Idk…
That was the “kismet” config right? I remember you could still aim and shoot with the second controller during cutscenes…so it was possible to kill Bond or other characters during the short scene after beating a mission. 😂
Hey I didn’t know that! Cool! :)
Kinda funny seeing that “Bleeding Cowboys” font on the back, on a commercial product out in the wild. Maybe it just looks similar haha.
I agree, because I really like their color scheme and logo. =\
(Infuriating TikTok voice:) “These red states are putting atmospheric additives in their coal plants to turn the sky red! Wow!”
I’m so tired of being relentlessly and aggressively marketed to because
“You enjoyed this thing we did 20+ years ago that was unique back then, but we’re scared of risks now so we want you to buy that thing again please. Remember how much you liked it? Also we want to sue people for enjoying the original if we can.”
…so tired.
That’s pretty neat. I do hope they do some solid UI/UX research on it, and figure out their own way of smoothing things out without simply “making it like Photoshop” like the grouchy masses are clamoring for. :p
Blender had some odd ideas at first, but I really appreciate their unique approach that, IMHO, makes an Autodesk product feel heavy and kludgy by comparison.
Fair. Can also cite all the Islamic iconography and sound removed from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
As for Star Wars, Han absolutely shot first. (High five)
Weren’t a lot of those wacky edits by Lucas’ own whims though? I’d say there’s a distinction between a creator editing his own work and say, Disney going “We lost the rights to John Williams, so we removed the score from the entire franchise.” Lol
I’ve actually considered starting a Friendica or other instance exclusively for friends and family to share pictures and communicate, invite only…
… But even if I managed the insane technical aspects and convinced people to try it, I only fear the mainstream social media giants have already trained them to be their worst selves at this point. I can see the bickering drama threads now, eating up my gigabytes…
I just hate how fragmented and walled the most connected Internet ever is…I felt more connection when I had everyone between Yahoo and MSN Messengers, or took the time to check out friends’ MySpace pages.
