This guy does really great reviews with each beta. I recommend checking out some of his videos. https://youtube.com/@IDTR
No new features from beta 4.1 to 5. It’s all fixes under the hood. Are you referring to changes in Android 15 as a whole?
I’ve been on all the betas. It’s fine. There are still things I’d like to see resolved still, but it’s stable enough to use.
I’m hoping that doesn’t happen here. That was a huge problem on reddit. Can we just not bring all the bad things about reddit here? Like Whose Line is it Anyway, the points are made up and nothing matters. Just enjoy this.
No major U.S. carrier gas used 2G for years. Well, at least Verizon and AT&T. Sprint did as well before merging with T-Mobile. That are shutting down 2G this year. So, not really a big deal.
I follow damn near every community on lemmy that I followed on reddit. I follow 97 communities on lemmy with all communities active and none with 0 posts. I left reddit immediately and haven’t looked back. All the news, whether political or tech related, I get from lemmy. I think people just haven’t found the right communities. You have to put in some time to find them since you may have 5 or 6 with the same name. But, once you do, you should be good to go.
Voyager is exactly like Apollo for reddit.
My top 2 are Voyager and Connect.
My favorite is Voyager followed by Connect.
For single comments that you don’t understand, the best course of action is to actually click into the comment and it will show what they are replying to. Kind of like Twitter, but backwards. Does that make sense?
Unfortunately, in served the same behavior late last. Ight. I saw the same article posted in five different communities from the same person. I thought we had something better going here. I hope the few who are exhibiting this behavior can get it under control and leave that mentality behind.
No, they’re not. I’m fine with it really. I enjoy following communities and not people, so not a big loss.
Are you sorting by All, Local, or Subscribed?
When did 30 become “older”?
You need to read up on how Google destroyed XMPP and come back and edit your comment.
It’s fine to charge to 100. Just use a slow charger overnight. Heat is the real enemy. I always have an iPhone and Pixel. My 13 Pro Max is still at 100% battery health (at least it states that. Probably close to 99). I got it when it first came out. I use a ridiculously slow wireless charger. It takes like 3- 4 hours to charge which is perfect overnight. I only get 5-6 hours of sleep per night, so it works out great for me. I also never let it drop below 40% either. If I get close to that I slap it on the charger just enough to get to the overnight charge. That rarely happens.
