I love FDroid but no way in hell is my banking app going open source and uploading there. I can use the website instead of the app but I doubt that’s the case for everyone.

Lately my cat starts meowing while standing at the shoe dresser. As soon as I go there he tries to climb on my shoulders. I bend over a bit and he climbs on my back and wants me to go around the house. I was enslaved as soon as he entered our home.
First of all, ask your vet!!! I’m not a vet, just a random person on the internet.
Not sure what type of insulin you’re using but most pens used in humance medicine are 3ml (100IU/ml, there are exceptions of course). That might be a better option. In fact our vet patients use your regular humane Lantus, Tresiba and Insulatard.
I would side on the cautious side of things and not give my cat expired insulin. I know some people do it and they’re just fine but I wouldn’t risk it.
Sadly best I have are posts by people claiming to have worked for HMD Global, talking about planned obsolescence by slowing down the phones intentionally. While I’m not really sure Google is doing it too, the experiments with old wiped android devices seem to point that way.
I’ll try that. Thanks! Already bricked another broken Nokia by not making a recovery when it wasn’t even supported 🙃
That happened after a wipe of the device. It can’t be the app.
I asked because my Elizabeth turned out to be a boy so he ended up being Lizzie… And that stuck because he already learned his name and we didn’t want to change it… 😅
My cat is also called Lizzie. Where did the name come from?
I mean…I was like that when we first adopted our cat. Then we learned about respecting personal space and whaddya know, I haven’t been scratched in months (Last time was me trying to remove a small piece of thread from his mouth, to prevent him from eating it. He ate it anyway with no consequences and gave me a gash that left a scar.)
I’m new here and I’m not sure what defines simple living but I usually go by foot around town.
Distances are relatively short and it doesn’t take long to walk around. The cities in my country are very walkable. When going out of town I prefer the (dilapidated) train network. With my discount card I can ride 400km in around 6 hours for as little as 10$. I’m terrified of driving and I don’t want to bother with maintaining a car, not to mention the environmental impacts. If I really need a car when I’m overloaded with groceries, I order a cab but that’s rare.
Can’t vouch for gardening but beer sure tastes better there. It gets really cozy, especially at night!
Few places have secure DMs.
