Tumblr should still be a giant in social media. Flickr should have been a better used product than Google Photos and the basis for building their cloud storage service.
Yahoo could never figure out the step 2 required before making a company profitable.

I’m expecting that Steam on Linux is going to be what drives it.
The Steam Deck can be used as a Linux computer and almost a turnkey way for a manufacturer to build a Steam computer without Windows.

Most states handle these classes through community colleges. The big deal here is that it is a specific charter school developed for this rather than a state run entity.

I’ve had the same experience as Maalus. I don’t get served right-wing content on videos nor do I get dancing teenage girls.
However, I’ve told YouTube that I’m following about 20 different channels which gives the algorithm a decent idea of what I like and I’ve told YouTube a few years ago not to show me Ben Shapiro videos when it tried once.
I have to ask, if you get right wing videos, do you click on the “Do not show videos like this” button?

I feel like “hallucination” was chosen as the word because of what it implies.
It doesn’t imply a bad algorithm, which makes the company look bad since hallucinations are out of a person’s control. It doesn’t imply using poor training data for the same reason.
But hallucination also masks the development of the model. A small kid might say something racist based on what they grew up with, but we would likely call that child immature. Same if an AI doesn’t fully understand a question or repeats a wrong answer that was given to it by someone as a laugh.
No one is fault. It was just a hallucination.
It depends on how you read posts on Mastadon. I can see methods of developing ways that read Mastadon posts that can hide ads in it.
The Microsoft monopoly was never dismantled, why should Alphabet be?

I don’t see the benefits but I see drama this would cause.
