I left Private Internet Access (PIA) for Proton VPN after the Kape acquisition years ago. Still happy with my decision and I recommend Proton VPN to anybody in the market for personal VPN services.

The general take away is “Surveillance is oppression and it is the responsibility of the people to stand up against oppression”.

I’ve got my Plex server running on an Intel NUC 8 with 2 USB 2TB solid state drives serving as local storage for my media.

I thought that it was already a legal requirement to provide identification to law enforcement, upon request.
