It’s no wonder Canonical is partnering up with Microsoft to EEE Linux
It’s been time since Ubuntu was selling user search data to Amazon, and adding ads to the terminal… It’s a shit distro with an even worse company behind it.
cheap (companies sell off their stocks when upgrading so you get a few years old business laptop for a fraction of the price)

popular models are usually easy to upgrade and repair
it’s built so coked up business sharks can throw it across the office

trackpoint and physical mouse buttons
great Linux support
There’s always a chance I messed up, but afaik it was tumbleweed. Although I was looking for some programming and niche packages, not something popular like Firefox.
