No thats “Are you mad at me now daddy!?!”
No thats “Are you mad at me now daddy!?!”
I mean, I know 3 people who launched “Startups” and 2 of them had serious “ARE YOU PROUD OF ME NOW DADDY!?!” energy.
I was a bouncer for 10 years. This is pretty much correct but its also about intensity, if someone starts off with anything lower than 11 out off 10 thats the opening.
Street fights arent boxing matches, theres no rules. You swing at me in public I assume you are intending to kill me and act accordingly until you back off or cant hurt me anymore.
If its a budhist baby I’m putting that little shit out of the park. He will be reincarnated, my conscience is clear. /s
I laugh every time I see the words “literally unplayable” because of minor headache
Started with Atari 2600, now VR simrig racing.
Costco is good for a few America-centric foods in Australia.
Nobody aside from my wife knows that the secret to my BBQ is Montreal steak seasoning and my burgers kick ass because my cheese is American.
Just popping back into this post.
How you doing with it bruh?
You mean this Anime? thats full and free on YT.
Id argue that the Anime is a better Streetfighter 2 movie, The live action is just peak 90s ridiculous fun. Also RIP Raul Julia.
He also isnt fucking wrong.
You want people to feel special, like buying your product brings them into an exclusive club, a club that now becomes part of your identity.
I was a bouncer for years and Nightclubs dont have guest lists and VIP areas for nothing. People who can walk past the line, and dont have to pay the cover charge spend way more money because we make them feel like a somebody. Which clubs you’re on “the list” at matters to some people.
Underarmor and New Balance. Fite me.
I think keeping a bear, even a very well trained and “domesticated” one is cruel and horrible. I also think that Russians make it look super fun and awesome on youtube.
But eventually the bear is probably going to maul me and my last thought will be the Chris Rock quote on Siegfried and Roy… “That tiger didnt go crazy, THAT TIGER WENT TIGER!”
I imagine that the viewer count far exceeds the comments, Im not going to look for examples to cite because I dont want to wind up on a list myself.
Point is that the act of wanting to identify people based on some content they watched is simultaneously incredibly worrying and absolutely understandable, the problem is that if you allow it for one thing then adding on second thing doesnt seem like such a stretch and then the slippery slope happens and hypothetically you cant get a government job because you watched a video on communism.
Broadly speaking this is terrible in its implications and I am NOT defending this practice based on “wont somebody think of the children” because of the slippery slope argument.
However, there is a almost hidden in plain sight emporium of borderline CP buried in the YT servers. Videos of peoples kids in dance/gymnastics/swimming costumes and the comments are disturbing in their “sanitary” nature… its mostly timestamps. Timestamps of when the 8yo girl has her legs spread as part of a dance routine and stuff like that.
Its a shame that for the people to be protected from broad govt surveillance we also have to protect that shit.
I do wonder if its a help or a hinderance though.
If someone wanted to start a community they might actually do something to generate interest, nobody wants to put the effort in to build up a community that the mod can just ban them from or they look and go “Its not that theres nothing, theres just no interest.”
I think the problem is that theres a lot of niche communities created for an exodus from Reddit that didnt really happen.
If you search for a certain community and find that yeah it exists but nobody has posted there in 6 months…
I had to not go to the gym this week because my wife and I have had meetings with realestate agents and builders about our new house after work every day.
Why is this a fitness victory? Because I’m PISSED that I had to miss a whole week of workouts. Like providing for my family and not having my daughter grow up in a glorified shoebox is important and all but 2 years ago going to the gym was something I just didnt do, now I get annoyed if I cant.
Actually you’re right. Was Dreamcast… I am very old.
If you can get a copy of an RPG called Silver, I remember it being very fun.
You arent wrong.
Lemmy is not welcoming to regular people who want to talk about normie shit.
Actually the one who was clearly out to impress daddy did the best, 2 years later he proved his business model could work and got bought out. Probably because he mentally tied his entire self worth to the project and just refused to be told it wouldnt work.
