Would love an explanation of what these things are
It’s largely because I’m not sure to what extent breeds existed in the ancient world but I suppose considering the time spans involved I shouldn’t be surprised.
Interesting how much the ancient mug looks like modern dog breeds. I would’ve expected them to look more wolfy.
Is this Canadian soil? It may be a declaration of war.
There are non-tenured and adjunct professors.
Whether it was a “quarter eater” or not was a big one. Some games were seen as having unfair levels of difficulty that were just designed to take your money. Take something like Haunted Castle as an example.
I loved this series when I was a kid renting them on vhs
Looks like icing, not frosting.
It means nothing, just like karma
This seems paranoid to a silly degree
Edit: Oh it’s police propaganda, no wonder it’s bad.
Yeah, waterfall would be “you collect requirements to build a rocket to Mars, 2 years later you have a rocket to Venus and it turns out they didn’t think oxygen is essential, they’ll have to add that in the next major release.”
I think I preferred the design of the ps2, personally.
Don’t think you’re going to see that in every mobile client…Sync doesn’t have it for example. I think the benefit is more in remembering than typing, too.
I’ve been thinking that there should be a better shorthand for linking to a community on a specific instances. Something along the lines of giving each instance a shorthand up to 4 characters or something, and then do community links in the format /<shorthand>/<name>. So give sh.itjust.works sjw as a shorthand, and /sjw/privacy becomes the community name. I think that would make it easier to remember the one you mean.
Honestly the duplication and splintering of communities across instances will be a big problem if Lemmy ever gets more mainstream.
So probably not, but still.
Having played through this recently (via PS1 classics on a PS3):
Very important game to the genre. Absolutely fucking miserable to play in places.
Very slow paced, long load times, awful platforming dungeons. But fascinating plot and characters. And then disc 2 happens and it’s completely batshit but also barely a game. And there’s sequences like the prison that just drag on forever. It’s worth playing but you’re gonna need patience.
The funny thing about it is that despite it being revered as a classic but nearly everyone, it’s also unlikely to ever get a remake or remaster because it’s blatantly unfinished and Tetsuya Takahashi left the company decades ago to found Monolith Soft and make different Xeno games.
Sometimes hope is all we’ve got.
Funny to see someone calling LRG a cool outfit. I’m so used to reading seething hate towards them on reddit. I’m pretty neutral towards them, personally.
