Can someone please explain? What would cause VS Code to show an image like this? Is this related to a plugin? (I don’t know what a docstring is)
So you’re saying instead of tacking “site:reddit.com” onto my Google search, I can now use ChatGPT to get the same information, except without the original context, and it will often be wrong? Amazing!
And this also means that companies will fill Reddit with fake comments promoting their brand to ensure that their brand gets mentioned in ChatGPT responses, right? Can’t wait!
I got a Jelly 2 a couple years ago to reduce my smartphone addiction, and I loved it. It runs well and the build quality is great. (I ended up switching back to my normal phone, but that’s not the Jelly 2’s fault. I’m just weak)
I’m pretty sure panel 2 and panel 4 should have the same text

I agree, I’ve always thought Silent Hill is the best looking game of the PS1/N64 era.
They could add some kind of warning message that notifies you when the URL has unicode in it. Then the user can decide if they want to disable the warning or not.
I think it will happen. Multiplayer video games already match people with bots that are presented as if they were human players, and 99.9% of players don’t care. As long as a game makes you feel like you’re playing against other humans, most people consider that good enough. Similarly, as long as a bot on Instagram or Twitter feels human enough to be enjoyable to interact with, users won’t care that they aren’t actually human.
As someone who hasn’t worked on open source projects, can someone please explain what this means? I know what ActivityPub is and I know what Git pull requests are, but I don’t understand what they have to do with each other. Is the idea that this lets you view GitLab pull requests from outside of the GitLab website?
Sounds kinda cool but I can’t think of any situations where I would want to use it.
I see what you mean. In a way, lifestyle and fashion choices are already partially governed by AI, in the sense that Instagram and TikTok recommendation algorithms influence what the user perceives as being trendy. I don’t know if we’ll get to the point where people are literally letting an AI tell them what to do, but I think AI will only get more and more influential in our lives in subtle ways.
I got excited for a second cuz I thought this was going to be like Street Pass on 3DS. Someone should make an app that does that.
I got it. In addition to commenting out the listen [::]:80
line in templates/nginx.conf, I also had to comment out the corresponding line on the server at /etc/nginx/sites-available/default. Thank you!!!
It’s not working, I’m still getting the same error. I don’t know why it’s still complaining about [::]:80 even though I commented that part out. Do I need to perform some kind of cleanup on the target server?
I was expecting your document to be some kind of tutorial, but it seems like you wrote it for people who already know what they’re doing. I would need to understand the “normal” way of doing it first before I would be able to understand what you’re talking about in your document. (Note: I’m new to Docker, which is why I gave up on setting up my own Lemmy server. It would be nice if someone could write a tutorial specifically for people who are new to Docker.)
If you want to help people set up their instances, I don’t think your document should have so much focus on the differences between your method and the official method, because that just adds to the confusion. It would be more helpful to just focus on your method and explain it in a way that noobs can understand.
I can’t tell if this is a liberal or conservative meme, since both sides call the other side fascist.
