Introducing Walz as a VP hopeful sounds like they’re describing a Palin-level government official, not someone who has been active in politics for years.

They did the same to Vance though. Isn’t he a Senator? They didn’t mention that, just that he’s somebody hoping to be Trump’s VP. They also provided what I would see as a positive point for Walz: a football coach. That could be taken as he has an interest in teaching others, possibly children, but they don’t specify there.

I’d have to agree, however much I know media is biased, that this one is fairly neutral.

I really hope so. I’ve been playing ff16 finally since it’s on PC and it’s really good. I absolutely love how dark the story is lol it deserved better treatment/exposure on PC

5 weeks is… pretty minimal

15 days is the limit at my job that you only get after 7 years working here. Seeing comments like this make me sad… Happy for you for sure, but sad for me cuz Murica’…

I only just this month “unlocked” my final week PTO after 7 years… 15 days PTO is the limit at my job :/

People are such scumbags on Amazon. If you aren’t paying attention and just quickly go to rebuy something like deodorant (like I just did) you can end up spending over $50 for 2 sticks… I had to actually go to the manufacturers page to find what I was looking for as I guess they changed packaging and all the assholes are charging insane prices for the “old style” package.

Supposedly the argument for the recent absurd food prices is because of oil prices increasing (translates to shipping costs increasing) so much with Russia invading Ukraine and everyones sanctions on Russian oil plus the disruption of wheat production in Ukraine.

And then there’s just plain old fucking greed.

That’s a good point, but to be honest even if those thumbnails were just straight up ads I’d be ok with that. I can simply not click on it. Having any kind of actual ad on a premium service is absolute bullshit though, that’s straight up greed…

Hell as a free user I wouldn’t mind in the slightest having their segments: videos, segment for shorts, more videos, be broken up to have videos, ad banner, shorts, videos, and banner etc… don’t lock me into having to watch an ad but I do understand they need ad revenue and I don’t mind seeing the still image ads “of the past” (well past for me since I’ve used an ad blocker for-absolutly-ever now.)

And for the cost, they get to retire with nice government pensions and better healthcare than any of their voters will ever see.

They get way more than just that if they are good little piggies for the ownership class. They get “advisory” positions and board membership that give massive salaries for doing fuck-all as they already did their “job” in government. Totes not a bribe of course, because technicallyyyyy…

I happened to freeze all my credit in the same weekend I switched car insurance so I don’t know who is to blame (my bet is on GEICO) but starting Monday I’ve been getting a bunch of spam calls and texts…

Such scumbags… If it’s the credit agencies they caused the problem for me to be there and are now profiting off the “solution” and if it’s GEICO it’s probably worse since I’m already fucking paying them, but no they need more.

I don’t believe for one single second that this will stay ad free. YouTube will eventually do like all the assholes do and have a tiered system where the first tier is simply less ads not none.
