Okay, I’m following. So who would you recommend as an email provider?

I mean, that’s going to be a risk you take with any hosted service. I currently self-host my contacts and calendar, but I have no interest in hosting my own email again.
What Zoho plan are you using? I can’t quite tell what the difference between the free and lite tiers is except for IMAP/POP support.
I moved over to Proton earlier this year and have had a good experience so far, but I’m not married to it or anything.
That’s like pointing at your shit and saying “everything is literally in the toilet” when someone asks what you ate. If you can’t effectively structure an argument, you won’t convince anyone of anything.
And since no one else has called it out yet, GTFO with your antisemitism.
A whole back when I got a Miyoo Mini, I went looking for original GB games that I missed. I found Cave Noire and it quickly became my favorite ways to kill time. It’s simple (but not easy), being a Roguelike offers some variety, and it’s just fun.
Thanks. I tried it briefly along with Leon and LinkSheet (also mentioned in the comments). URLCheck is hands down the best of the bunch, but its UI is so terrible and obtuse that I can’t bring myself to have to interact with it regularly. Will keep an eye on it though!
It looks like Lèon is for sharing (outbound) links to others whereas UrlChecker handles shared (inbound) links. Is that right? Or can UrlChecker also scrub a link before I send it?
I recently had about $40 of Play Store credit that was inaccessible to me for weeks. Google support just kept telling me “Okay, wait 24 hours and it should be good now.”
FINALLY someone got it straightened out, but during the course of it, I had to explain to support what Stadia was and why I didn’t have a gift card number.
This seems like an unfortunate name for a mobile app that doesn’t have anything to do with notifications. I mean, I get what they’re going for, but I don’t think it quite works in this case.
That said, the app looks nice and I’ll give it a try.
The strengths/weaknesses are ingrained in my brain from studying that manual. I thought it was common knowledge.
I think of them as “example given” and “in essence” which is close enough to remind me which to use.
Thanks for this! I just picked up a RPi4 and have been kicking it around trying to host a few applications and I’m just about to re-flash and start fresh. I’ll give Yunohost a shot tonight!
Yeah, it was the subfolders. I found another post with some good details on how to name the files. Still working through some issues, but getting there!
Thank you SO much. There were a lot of blanks to fill in with the doc page. I was putting the theme files in subfolders rather than renaming (though I suspected that was my issue). Then it says to use v4 themes, and those KIND of worked, but kind of not. v5 seems good so far. Still a bit more to figure out, but you’ve been incredibly helpful!
Were you able to figure this out? Because honestly, this post is already 10x more helpful than the theming page in the Lemmy docs.
Not to speak for @stux@geddit.social, but no, it really doesn’t. I’ve put additional themes in subfolders in the extra_themes directory, but they don’t show up in the theme picklist. There has to be something missing in that doc page.
Question: What is your favorite Mexican restaurant around specific city?
Response: Here is a list of all the restaurants in specific city.
I don’t think some polite pushback on that is unwarranted.
