      Who the hell knew this law was still in action? Also, laws can only be struck down in court when it’s being applied to someone and it’s found unconstutional. That’s when an org like the ACLU steps in for the defendant.

          Now? No, not really. A few years ago, it would have.

          This is just the process for how laws are repealed in the US. There needs to be a defendant that law is being applied to first, then it needs a judge to… well, judge the case and law. It’s why it’s illegal to wear blue jeans down Noble Street in Anniston, Alabama. No one’s been arrested for it, so no one can challenge it.
