Are you being sarcastic? because that’s true, the döner that most people think of comes from Berlin:

“The modern sandwich variant of döner kebab originated and was popularized in 1970s West Berlin by Turkish immigrants.[5][6][7] This was recognized by the Berlin-based Association of Turkish Doner Manufacturers in Europe in 2011.[8]” -Wikipedia

We have our own versions here in the nordics, in fact we have a whole very specific culture of pizzerias operated only by middle-eastern immigrants where you can always find pizza with whatever you want on it and kebab that is very distinct from döner and is usually served on a plate with french fries. This does not exist in the middle east and obviously the mere concept would outright kill many italians.

This is how food and culture works, when a bunch of people from one place emigrate to another place they take their culture and cuisine with them and it fusions with that of their new homes.
This isn’t something new, and this isn’t something rare. The “pan” in panko (japanese breadcrumbs) comes from Portuguese.
