This is incredible, wow. I’ve had a blackbeard algae infestation for the better part of almost a year and every time I think I have it under control it springs back. One day I’ll figure it out so my tank can look like this lol
Honestly the secret to algae control is snails and bugs (pods and scuds). If you have a local water source like a pond or creek or even a gutter just grab some mud from the bottom with old leaf litter and put it in your tank. This will give you the micro fauna and flora you need to balance things. The closer you can get to a natural environment the better.
