According to the New York Times, the campaign was undertaken by Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs with the intent to gain support from the U.S. public and lawmakers.
Earlier also Lebanon. I met some wonderful people from Lebanon who came here as refugees to the Netherlands. At least they had means to escape. My father in law is Jewish and he doesn’t like what has been going on since forever in Israel or the family he has there.
It honestly amazes me how they have managed to silence the people who dissent. It’s that loud over the top rhetoric, it’s an old practice and very annoying.
