I would say the US is already pretty busy humiliating themselves, they don’t really need any help with it.
absolutely
This hardly feels like proper humiliation on the US’s part and way more like the United States is Crying that the PRC did not just bow down to the United States.
Basically, and this is starting to cause panic in the west.
Telegraph
Oh my, no red carpet for Antony Blinken.
The scandal!
🤣
He might have, but one thing to remember about the telegraph is that old conservative brits love to shit on the US at all costs, while their own wet little island continues to its own downward spiral. They hate the US culturally, and for taking their place in the world.
And this is also true for relations between majority of western countries, there are deep antagonisms between all of them just below the surface. I’d argue that these kinds of alliances are not able to survive under stress. The only reason we saw things like NATO and EU function was due to the fact that the economic situation was relatively stable, now that the economy is starting to unravel we’re starting to see these antagonism surfacing.
It would be pretty fucking wild to see France and England become old feudal nemeses again
I’d argue that in practical terms they largely already are.
