The PH buffets were a big part of my childhood. The red checkered table cloths, the red plastic cups, the stained glass lamp shades. And the video games of course.

I’ve been to the one in Jacksonville Texas, I feels exactly how it did as a kid. Went in for the lunch buffet, had some fat kid salad (lots of bacon bits and ranch), played some pinball, listened to the locals chat about their lives.

It’s kinda refreshing when everything else seems to be a race to the bottom.
