I’m so fucking old
they offer 3 flavours with the v15 release clocking in at…
- Core (CLI only) ~15MiB
- TinyCore (Minimal desktop) ~23MiB
- TinyCorePlus (Desktop and fluff) ~248MiB
considering its a modern kernel and tools, not too bad, honestly.
I have used older Core and TinyCore to work on really ancient hardware before (eg 586 class with 32MiB of RAM) and its a lifesaver. absolutely something to keep in your toolbox.
I remember when you could boot it off a floppy.
