Why does it require an account if it is self hosted? Just to proxy remote access? That’s trivial to do with a number of services like cloudflare for free.
I get most of my books from library connected to Libby, but I’ll set this up to see if my dad likes it. I wish there was easy integration with readers. I love that I can books from library directly on my Kobo with overdrive.
Me too. I paid for a lifetime membership and I’m happy with current features so I have no reason to look for alternatives. I just don’t use any of the crap I don’t care about and as long as it is easy to disable (free movies with ads they try to promote) or ignore (plex amp) - I don’t really mind.
