Yeah absolutely. I have never clicked through an ad on the internet. My click through rate is literally zero. On the incredibly rare instance that I see something I like from an ad, I do some research first then go to the relevant website.

Absolutely, given the pretty low active users (compared to large social medias anyway) there’s a lot going on here. There’s certainly not infinite new content like Reddit, but that may not be a bad thing.

I have seen extremely little racism on Lemmy, but my instance is defederated from those places (.ml, Hexbear etc.) they blocked us themselves so we didn’t even have to do anything. So I definitely dont have the whole picture.

One note on Jerboa, at least for me gifs don’t seem to play when embedded in comments. Otherwise 10/10 for me.
